Walter TaniH-250 Vertical & Horizontal CNC Rotary Table

The latest TANiH Evolution range from Walter, with major developments over earlier models with major increases in speed and power transmission, a new compact design and a Stainless Steel body. Incredible accuracy specification on all standard models, that is far and away ahead of similar sized competitor’s products. The Walter TANiH-250 is a high speed rotary table ideally suited to large drilling and tapping centres and VMC machines, with a spindle nose diameter of 180mm with options to accept a 400mm (16”) or 498mm (19. 6”) faceplate or can accept a standard or power chuck. The unit has a 150mm spindle nose location which passes directly through the table and which has a centre height of 250mm in the vertical position. This device in the first instance is a vertical and horizontal device. An excellent carrying capacity of 360kg vertically and 1,400kg horizontally or 1,200kg between centres and speeds up to 33rpm dependent on motor selection. (example given is with a 3000rpm motor). Net weight of this device is 200kg. The Walter TANiH-250 CNC rotary table without motor, can be prepared to suit any interface at additional cost (see our interface listings for details and costs for “external interface” (motor, switch, cable and connector requirements if you already have a “4th axis interface” in the machine) and machine interface costs (if you do not have the additional axis fitted). Motor is mounted to the left hand side on this device and may restrict the Y axis capability in certain circumstances, the centre hole of 150mm is available should you want to machine long bar components that need to be mounted through the centre. This range of Walter devices now come with dual lead worm and wheel, the extreme quality of this product even on this diameter provides an impressive repeatability of +/- 3 seconds of arc. Walter is one of the oldest and original manufacturers from Germany and in our experience build a very fine device with a very long service life, probably greater than those we have experienced from other German makers.
